We just discovered some gorgeous printed & embroidered fabrics from Lost City Textiles. The fabrics are made using centuries-old crafting techniques in Lucknow, India and are made with high-quality silk and cottons.
The company owner, Afshan Durani, grew up in India and established fair working conditions for more than 100 artisans. Her team designs and creates some truly lovely, hand-embroidered work. And if you live far from one of her showrooms, the fabrics can be directly ordered through the website. They'll also launch an online shop in the near future with pillows, scarves and other embroidered pieces.
